Green Synthesis of Gold Nanoparticles, Silver Nanoparticles and Gold-Silver Alloy Nanoparticles Using Ziziphus spina-christi Leaf Extracts and Antibacterial Activity against Multidrug-Resistant Bacteria

Multidrug-resistant bacteria continue to pose the greatest threat public health. Metallic nanoparticles are one of more promising strategies for combating antibiotic resistance. This research aims determine effect gold and silver gold-silver alloy as antibacterial agents. On other hand, biogenic synthesized using Ziziphus spina-christi leaf extract preparation treatment multidrug-resistant were studied. The formation was characterized ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer, fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction transmission electron microscopy. Antibacterial activity biosynthesized nanoparticles, studied against Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Acinetobacter baumannii Enterococcus faecalis. In present study, minimum inhibitory concentration ranged from 61.33 64 μg/ml bactericidal 85.33 93.33 strains. Synthesized had no inhibition zone, indicating that have negative on bacteria. Minimum in high strain not bactericidal. highest 114 μg/ml. Finally, 53.33 62 77.33 These results indicate showed higher antimicrobial ability when compared alone. could be used an alternative agent bacteria, according our findings.
